Hello.
My name is David Park (박대형), and I am a Korean tutor on Cafetalk.
I am currently an office worker who works for a Japanese company, but I actually work online from my home in South Korea. I often go on overseas business trips, but I live in South Korea as I do not have to fly through Japan when I return.
I have lived in Japan for about two years.
I majored in mechanical engineering at university, and I continue to work in related fields.
Since my first workplace was with a Japanese company, I started studying Japanese there and started using Japanese for business.
There were many people around me who were interested in both the Korean language and culture, such as my colleagues in the company and the Italian cooperator staff. I was also interested in other languages and cultures myself, because I often went on business trips abroad.
I had also taught a few group lessons when I was in Japan, and I enjoyed teaching Korean so much that I decided to teach Korean on Cafetalk.
I have worked for a Korean company for 15 years and a Japanese company for 6 years, so I can use my experience to help you learn Korean related to diverse fields. Having lived in South Korea, Japan, parts of Europe, and in the US, I can offer fun lessons on a variety of topics.
I have also recently passed the written exam for the Korean Language Instruction Course grade 3, and I am now preparing for my interview exam. I believe I will be qualified without any problems.
I would like to teach according to the learner’s individual needs. We will discuss with each other on what kind of things you would like to learn, in what way, and what you would like to do in our lessons. Students can choose to have lessons with whatever content and materials they would like, or I can decide for them.
I am still a new tutor, but I will do my best!
Please don’t hesitate to book a lesson with me.
Thank you.
