Thank you for taking a look at my profile. It’s nice to meet you, my name is Yuko. I have been teaching piano for around 20 years. After graduating from the Yamaguchi Junior College of Arts, Department of Instrumental Music (Majoring in Piano), since I had been playing the piano since I was 8 years old, I decided to take a break from playing the piano when I turned 20 and went to Tokyo to work by myself. I “broke up” with the piano for the first time in my life, and thought I might never play it again, but after a full month of not playing the piano, I suddenly realized that my heart felt empty. I felt as if I had just broken up with my partner and realized how important they were after losing the. lol I rented a nearby lesson studio, and for some reason, I felt at ease sitting in front of the piano, which was just like I had reunited with my partner. After retiring from my job in Tokyo, I wanted to use music to help people so I started music therapy for around 10 years because I wanted to help others feel happier and inspired by playing the piano. I taught piano at home and as a visiting instructor, but I have an old dog that makes it difficult to give lessons in this style, so I started offering lessons online.
*I have been offering only 30-minute lessons, but I have now started offering 1-hour lessons as well. I look forward to receiving your lesson requests♪
I would like to express that the piano is a wonderful instrument that you can play throughout your life. It is also named the “king of musical instruments”, so it does have its difficulties, but let’s work together to overcome those struggles.
I would like to offer lessons that will satisfy everyone from beginners, and people of all genders. Lastly, I have a cat, so please be aware that it may Skype-bomb from time to time.(=^・^=)
