Hello everyone!
I am Monam from Tunisia, a language teacher living in Japan since 2006.
I was born in Tunisia known for its superb tourist sites, its enchanting shades of blue, its varied landscapes, its delicious aroma of jasmine and its delicious dishes.
At 20, I journeyed to Morocco to study law under a collaborative program between Tunisia and Morocco.
Upon completing my studies, I pursued further law education in Paris, France, where I spent six wonderful years.
In 2006, my path led me to Japan, a country I now call my own.
Upon arriving in Japan, I immersed myself in the language at a school in Tokyo, cultivating my love for Japanese culture.
My teaching career began in 2007 in Tokyo, offering private lessons in various settings.
In 2008, I relocated to the Nihonmatsu Training Center in Fukushima Prefecture, where I continue to train Japanese Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV). Working alongside these committed individuals, both young and old, brings me great pride and happiness.
I have instructed more than 300 Japanese professionals through intensive courses, both in-person and online. Along with teaching, I also offer translation services. My expertise lies in Tunisian dialects as well as French.
In 2010, I authored a book in Japan titled【チュニジア語】. I have a keen interest in traveling and have explored 28 prefectures so far, aiming to visit all of them. My students frequently commend my precise and comprehensive teaching methods.
Nature, meditation, film-watching, and chess are among my favourite pastimes.
