Hello, my name is Park Shin-young and I currently reside in Seoul.
For a year and a half, I lived in a shared house with my international friends and we often did language exchange activities. I taught my friends Korean while they taught me English, and we were able to improve our understanding of different languages and cultures. Through this experience, I realized that learning another language means learning to understand and care for people who have lived in a different environment, and this was the decisive motivation for me to pursue my dream of becoming a Korean language tutor. After that, I re-entered university and began my studies in earnest, majoring in ‘Korean Language Education’ and ‘English’.
I have worked for a long time in corporate settings in coffee education and sales. Coffee and Korean language are two completely different topics, but I would like to use my experience in coffee education to teach Korean in an enjoyable way. Since I am also a learner of English, I am able to understand your feelings while giving lessons.
I want to help everyone who is interested in learning Korean.
I want to be your friend.
See you in a lesson!J
* I do not speak Japanese, so lessons will be given in Korean only.
* If you would like to have a lesson at a time other than my set available lesson time, please contact me by message.
