NATURE AND ITS INFLUENCE ON MENTAL WELLBEING

Did you know that our relationship with nature - how much we notice , think about and appreciate our natural surroundings - is critical in supporting good mental health and preventing distress?

Nature is an important need for many and vital in keeping us emotionally, psychologically and physically healthy. Its this beautiful dopamine that one gets addictive too once you've tasted the sweetness of its healing effects. Reagrding mental health benefits, nature has a wide definition which consists of green spaces like parks, woodland or forest ad blue spaces like rivers, wetalnds, beaches or canals. Urban street, private gardens, indoor plants and watching nature documentaries has an impactful effect on ones mental wellbeing too.

Here are some focal positive effects that nature contributes to mental wellbeing:


-improves your mood :)
-reduces feelings of stress and anger
-helps you take time out and feel more relaxed
-improves your physical health
-improves confidence and self-esteem
-reduce loneliness
-provides influencial peer support
