Have you ever heard about Nivkhs? Hope you have! However, unfortunately, most people have no idea about this tiny minority residing at the Sakhalin Island and some other places of the Russian Far East.

I will address different scientific articles of Russian researchers and some literature such as Sakhalin Island by Anton Chekhov.
