In this lesson, you will be introduced to some of the most basic Japanese grammar to be able to form and understand simple sentences.

This course focuses on basic grammar of Japanese language, starting from alphabets and simple and the core grammar structure that enables you to form most sentences so you can express almost anything you want to say. At this level, however, forming sentences that are grammatically sound is achieved, but holding a conversation is still a difficulty. Students should be able to catch phrases, words and understand the structure of the language by listening to people speak or by watching TV-shows or anime, but a smooth conversation in Japanese is not yet possible. This is mostly due to not being familiar with the language, not knowing enough vocabulary and not having been exposed to the actual literary texts. This course is designed as a 20-course program.
You will learn: action verbs, adjectives conjugation in both the present and the past as well as te-forms, passive voice and simple conditional.
