Let's have fun while learning new English words!
One of the best ways to learn a language is to have fun. Let's watch a video and talk about it. This will help you to increase your vocabulary and improve your listening skills.
In this lesson, we will watch a video and then discuss the content of the video. This will help you to learn new words and practice your coversational English.
You can choose any video (about 5-7 minutes long) to discuss or you can choose a topic and I will provide a video. When you make your lesson request I will ask you if you have a video that you want to discuss. If you do not, I will send you the list of topics.
How it will work:
We will start by watching the video. If there is a word that you do not know, you can pause the video so that I can explain it to you, or you can make a note to discuss it afterward.
When you have watched the video, we will talk about any words that you do not know.
We will then discuss the video. Don't worry, I will guide you and help you through the lesson. I will ask you to explain what the video was about and we will have a friendly conversation about the topic afterward.
The goal is to learn some new words and also to practice your listening skills.
I will provide you with a lesson summary after the lesson. I will also help you to prepare for the lesson and guide you on how to review all your new words afterward.
What you need:
If you want to make notes, please bring a pen and paper. You can also watch the video before the lesson (optional) if you want to prepare.
