Hello and nice to meet you! This class is great for anyone who wants to learn speaking and listening in American English language from a native speaker to use in the context of software development or IT-related topics!
I've worked in IT and software development for over 15 years and have had experience in Technical Writing, QA, Business Analysis, and Agile Product Owner. I've been through most of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) except for programming, though I've worked with many of them. I've also designed my own web pages for my personal businesses in HTML and CSS.
This is a 50-minute, one-on-one, conversational class where we communicate in English about IT or Software Development concepts. Are you part of a software team or interested in this area? We can change and customize the lesson as you want. I've spent several years teaching in Japan in this manner, and it's successful.
I am an American English native speaker. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from a private college, Concordia College in Moorhead Minnesota with a double major in Business Administration and Organizational Communications. I lived and worked for 11 years teaching English language and culture in Japan to mainly adults, but I have tuaght children as well.
Tell me your goals in learning IT concepts, and I can customize the lesson to meet your targets! For example, methodology, software development, product management, or others.
