I have a BA in Psychology and have worked as a counseling social worker in Germany. My expertise is Solution-Focused Counseling within the framework of Shazer and Berg.
Together, we can identify problems that you wish to overcome or goals that you may have as well as resources that you have to address them. In weekly counseling sessions, we can work concretely towards reaching your goals, step by step. This is a very practical approach that seeks to strengthen people to make positive change in their lives.
This counseling also focuses on identifying which problem-solving practices are already working and which ones may need to be changed. Feelings are seen as a good indication that you need to do something, but it is your brain that should determine what you do.
Changing your focus or mindset can often solve a problem.
I can also help you to gain perspective about your life or your goals if you feel confused.
