Q: Is this a relaxation/meditation stretch class?
A: Not really. There will be a cardio warm up and the stretches are designed to improve your flexibility. Relaxation is a secondary effect in these classes.
Q: Is different from the posture perfecter lessons?
A: No. The stretches from both lessons feature in this class for those that have more time so please do not book both classes along with this and expect different stretches.
Q: I'm not flexible. Can I still do this class?
A: Yes yes yes! This lesson is aimed at beginners.
Q: I don't think I'll ever be flexibile because I'm not young anymore.
A: Whilst our recovery time is longer as we get older, your muscles are still capable of stretching. In fact, with a regular stretching program, it can help lengthen your muscles and make daily acitivities easier and more enjoyable.
Q: What can I expect after taking this class?
A: You should feel more refreshed and loose. The stretches will gently wake up your muscles and then we will take the stretch deeper to start making the muscles work. If you do not stretch often you may feel slightly sore the next day - this is completely normal!
