I am Xavi, and I am from Barcelona, Spain.
I came to Japan after working as a model, dancer, and choreographer in Spain.
My background includes ballet, ballroom, flamenco, and Latin dance.
I am also a former Barcelona Ballroom Champion.
Since moving to Japan, I have been performing and directing musicals and dance shows, as well as teaching dance.
I also teach stretching and walking, including awareness building, to help people build a healthier body through their daily lives, based on my own research from my own physical injuries.
I have extensive experience teaching Spanish through encounters with people in Japan.
Having experienced the difficulties of learning Japanese myself, I strive to provide attentive instruction suited to each individual’s learning pace.
