enray 講師的自我介紹

講師休假中。

Hello everyone! I’m enray and I’m from Dalian, China.

I have been in Japan for almost 7 years.

I love talking and teaching.
I have experience teaching Chinese to my Japanese classmates when I went to college in Japan, and I can communicate freely in Japanese. Of course, I am also confident in speaking standard Chinese (Mandarin).

In 2006, during my second year of college, I got a level 1B certification in China’s standard Chinese exam. At that level you can work as a radio announcer!

As far as my teaching experience goes, I have had three different experiences up until now. I have learned a lot from these experiences.
The first time was when I was in my third year of high school. My math teacher was very busy and so I ended up helping him out since I was good at math. I became his assistant and helped about 60 students with tests and homework.
That was my first time teaching people and I realized just how difficult it was, but also how gratifying it was to work hard with other students to help them raise their grades.

The second time was when I was in my second year at a university in China. Right during summer break, my mom (who is a teacher) recommended me to help out with a 3rd grade class at the elementary school she was working at. Their homeroom teacher was taking time off, so I took over for 10 days, teaching math and language arts, as well as music, since I went to a music college.
This time, since my students were young children, I found them so cute and had a lot of fun teaching them every day. This experience helped me find what I want to do for the rest of my life.

The third time was during my second year at a Japanese university. In order to help my seminar professor with his Chinese class, I taught Chinese to two of my classmates. This continued for about 6 months. I didn't earn any credits, but I learned a lot about how to teach Chinese and it also helped me study how to speak Japanese. It was my first time teaching Chinese to foreigners and I had so much fun. Not only did I get to teach the language, but I got to share information about Chinese culture, China's current state of affairs, etc. Since China and Japan are neighbors, it would be great for both of our economies if we got along, and I hope I can help, even if just a little bit.

Becoming a teacher has been one of my dreams since I was little.
My mother is an elementary school teacher. Ever since I was young, I have watched my mother dealing with all sorts of things, so I understand how hard the job is. But I still can’t forget how my mother always smiled at the end of the term, when her students earned good grades.
I always new just how important her job was, but it was especially apparent when she received heartfelt gratitude from parents. Since I have taught others before, I am accustomed to this line of work. However, since I came to Japan, I missed my chance to become a teacher in China.

I plan to stay in Japan so even if I can’t become a teacher, I would still love to become a Chinese instructor!

I can’t wait to receive your requests!
Thank you very much!
