Hi ! Bonjour ! My name is Natalie, I am half-Swiss, half-Japanese. I have lived in many places around the world, in Montreal, Lausanne, Paris, London and I now live in Tokyo. I would love to teach you French, which is my native language.
Following a teacher training focused on teaching French to Japanese students given at the French Institute in Iidabashi in Tokyo, I have graduated with a DUFLE diploma in teaching French as a Second Language from the University of Maine in France.
I have been teaching in Japan for about 5 years now so I am used to teaching Japanese students. I can speak Japanese and English, so I can explain in your language when necessary.
I believe in a casual way of teaching, without putting too much pressure on you while encouraging you to make progress at your own rhythm. I love talking about culture, about movies, music, and art which I enjoy taking as a platform to have interesting conversations with you.
I ask for every student to prepare a private space where it is possible to concentrate, as well as a video camera so that we can see each other during the lesson.
My lessons are mainly geared toward adult learners.
