Hi! I'm Anne Marionne Osila, you can call me Anne.
Most of the people I have worked with would describe me as someone who is fun, reliable and easy to work with. I have been passionate about teaching since I started pursuing it during my bachelor's degree. Aside from teaching, I also love music and singing and one of my favorite series was Slamdunk. I also love Kuromi.
As a teacher, I have been teaching English for 6 years now, 2 years in the private school and 4 years in the public school in the Philippines. I am a licensed professional teacher and is a TOEFL certificate holder. Currently, I am a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant scholar in the United States from August 2023 - June 2024. I am teaching Tagalog language to students who has different cutural backgrounds.
During our lessons, I will make sure that you are also having fun while learning a new language. One of the main takeaways that I want you to get at the end of every lesson, is for you to use it in your daily life. To add, I also want you to be constantly involved in the teaching and learning process. I would often you for your opinion on what lessons you want to learn, if you have a preferred topic, or if you want to do an activity which I can make for you to be more interested in learning the language. With this, I think you will be more involved, confident and interested in learning the language. I know, learning a language would be hard sometimes because it is. But I want you to feel that you don't need to be afraid because we will learn together. You can make mistakes ,just be yourself in our lessons and just have fun with the activities that I will prepare.
