Hi everybody, my name is Miss. Lindsey and I live in Florida in the United States of America. So nice to meet you! 


A little About Me:

I am a dance teacher and have been teaching dance for the past 2 and a half years. I love teaching and am passionate about helping others reach their goals. I too am a language learner and have been learning Korean seriously for the past six months. So I understand how hard it can be to learn a new language and the hiccups along the way. I love culture, history, and travel and would love to learn about yours as you learn about mine. 

 


Teaching Background:

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Asian studies, as well as a teaching certification for Teaching English as a Foreign language. I have taught English for one year. I have tutored international college students one on one in English grammar, writing, conversation and culture. I have taught lessons on grammar and pronunciation, corrected homework and class work, and worked on conversational English for three months with adults at a local English learning facility. Additionally, although this is not directly related to teaching English, I have been teaching dance for the past two and a half years. However, while teaching dance I have taught dance to many international students as well who speak little to no English.

Teaching Style:

I recommend all students do a 15 minute introduction with me before we start any lessons, and this is free! I want to get to know, and what your goals and level are so I can best create a plan to help you reach your goals. I accept beginners, intermediate, and advanced from ages 7-70.  I will use tailored lessons or curriculum depending on your needs as a student. I am both flexible and organized as a teacher, but want to help find the best way to teach you as a student. If you need help with learning grammar, practicing your conversations, learning new phrases and idioms, understanding our culture then let’s learn together. 

 

It won’t always be easy but it will be worth it, and I promise to help you in the best way I can. Our classes will be both enjoyable and educational, so I hope you are ready and excited! I can’t wait to start this English journey with you here on Cafe Talk.
