　15歳からクラシックピアノとジャズ・ピアノを始め、大学生の頃、軽音楽部でジャズピアノトリオのピアノ担当でした。作曲の勉強のため、和声やフーガなどを東京芸大院卒の先生に習いました。卒業後、東京では現代音楽の作曲発表や放送局で劇伴の選曲の仕事や編曲の仕事もしておりました。　ここ10年ジャズピアノソロに開眼し、ジャズ・ピアノライブを60回ほど続けています。好きなジャズプレイヤーは、キース・ジャレット、チック・コリア、ビル・エヴァンスです。　現在は、ジャズピアノ教室を主宰し、ジャズの理論やアドリブの仕方、イントロ、エンディングの作り方を教えています。ジャズピアノを弾けるようになったら、ベースやドラムとピアノトリオ演奏をすると最高の気分を味わえます。本格的なマイナスワンを作りためているので、それに合わせて演奏することもレッスンの中に取り入れたいと思っています。　自分の個性を発揮できるジャズという音
