Hello. I'm yoga istructor Ayumi.
I have 10 years of instructing experience at yoga studios, fitness clubs and hot yoga studios, mainly within the city.

The reason why I began yoga was that I thoought I wanted to "become healthy."
As a working adult I suffered from stress and stiff shoulders, had issues with swelling and wondered if I would be able to continue working that way.

When I was little I was involved in many activities in which I moved my body, like swimming, gymnastics, ballet and so on, and I thought I wanted a job in which I could move my body more and be more healthy, so I started doing yoga.

At the beginning I was concerned with doing poses beautifully and was very motivated to become more flexible, and I was able to do the poses well, but even more important than that was the feeling of the changes in my body, the pleasure, and being becoming more focused on my inner self. I got over the stiff shoulders which had been plaguing me for years, and my personality became more joyful and I became more flexible in relation to how I dealt with things.

Students who have been with me for a long time have also reported things like, "I can sleep better now," "I've become more flexible," "My lower back pain is gone," and "I've become a more positive person."

I would be happy to to teach you the wonder and transformational power of yoga.
