Hello! My name is Hazel and I lived in Japan for almost 6 years. I have been teaching English to Japanese students of all ages for over 5 years! I have also taught in Private Junior and Senior High Schools all over Japan. I have really enjoyed talking to all the wonderful Japanese students I have met and can't wait to meet more people who are enthusiastic about English and other cultures! I have taught students from 1 year old to 60 years old, so don't be worried about your age! It's never too late (or early) to begin your English speaking journey. Let's start learning English from today!


I am a trained teacher from the UK with a PGCE in Teaching English at Secondary School. I also have a first class (BA) degree in English Language studies. After teaching in England for two years, I decided I wanted a new challenge! I moved to Japan and began teaching in an Eikaiwa school. I taught not only children, but also teenagers, young adults and adult business classes.

 
Recently, I've been enjoying helping students to reach their English language proficiency goals. Whether it's IELTS, TOEIC or EIKEN, let me help you to achieve the future you want. With dedication and hard work, we can do it!
 
It's also nice to talk to people who just want to practise their English or to learn about other cultures. Of course I can provide topics to help you to improve your English, but if you have your own topics you want to talk about, let's talk about them! I'm looking forward to hearing about you.
 
I am a friendly, approachable and patient teacher. I love to play games and to set challenges for my students, while also giving them the tools they need to study on their own as well.
 
I have so many hobbies! I love traveling, playing games, reading, fitness, food, nature, coffee, music, mountain climbing and more... It's so easy to find something we can both enjoy talking about!
