Hello. My name is Tsuki! I am a freelance children’s art teacher. After graduating from Tama Art University with a degree in oil painting, I worked as an art teacher at a kindergarten for two years, studied abroad in New York for a short time, and visited many art fairs and biennales in Germany, Italy, the USA, South Korea, Taipei, and other countries around the world. I am now working at an art gallery in Tokyo and also have my own art class.
I understand the importance of seeing things from a broader perspective, having fresh perspectives, and expressing oneself as an individual through art, so I would be delighted to help children grow and become confident while enjoying art. I would like to share happiness through creativity without having them be afraid to express themselves.
♩I would like to encourage children to try their hand at drawing, painting, crafts, collage, etc., regardless of art genre. (If you have a specific request, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss it!)
You can follow me on Instagram @artsykidsjp to keep up with my online lessons and other activities.
I have a TOEIC score of 885.
My main target age group is 4 to 12 years old, but I will be happy to discuss this as well.
I strive to create a space where each student can enjoy art in which their individuality shines through. Some of my students have ALS, and some have been diagnosed with ive mutism.
As for my own work, I create three-dimensional objects.
@tsukisugiyama I look forward to spending an enjoyable time with you through art♩
