再過一個禮拜就要過新年了! 各位有什麼計畫嗎?
在加拿大, 我們華人雖然有過新年, 但我想應該還是台灣比較熱鬧!
大家都是怎麼過新年的呢?
說到新年, 有人知道怎麼說嗎?
通常很多人會直接聯想到 "new year", 但如果只是說 "new year"會讓人想到元旦。
所以可以改說 "Chinese new year" 或是 "Lunar new year"。
各位應該知道今年是豬年。那各位知道豬年的英文怎麼說嗎?
也許會有人說 "pig year", 但比較正確的說法是 "year of the pig"。
所以, "year of the" 代表 "年", 前面再加上12生肖就可以囉!
12生肖 (Chinese Zodiac signs)
鼠 -- rat
牛 -- ox
虎 -- tiger
兔 -- rabbit
龍 -- dragon
蛇 -- snake
馬 -- horse
羊 -- goat
猴 -- monkey
雞 -- rooster
狗 -- dog
豬 -- pig
