Crazy And Funny Facts You Should Know

Lyston G.

Dear, Readers

What an honor it is to be back. I hope you have been enjoying the previous sizzling columns.

It is the middle of summer in Thailand. The temperatures are creeping upward at a worrying pace. The peak will be during the middle of April.

The city I live in, Hat Yai, is very close to the ocean, and we experience some gentle breezes from time to time.

I hope you are enjoying the weather wherever you are.

Today, I have another fun fact to tickle your interest.

So, without much further ado, I will dive right into it.

Friends was one of the most iconic TV shows to come out of the nineties and early 2000s.

It is an American television sitcom, created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, which aired on NBC from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004, lasting ten seasons.

It starred
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer.

The show revolves around six friends in their 20s and 30s who live in Manhattan, New York City.

Here is the surprising fact about it. It wasn’t filmed in Manhattan, where it’s set, but at the Warner Brothers Ranch just outside of Los Angeles.

That being said, there are actually a small handful of locations where filming took place outside of LA.

TV viewers of course believe the whole act is going on in New York.

I am of the opinion this applies to many other TV shows and movies too.

Have you watched this TV show? If you have, please share your experience in the comments section below.

I hope you will enjoy reading this little fun fact. I will be on the look-out for more to share.

See you soon.

Thank you @kuboyuka for your comment. I enjoyed the show when I was in junior high and high school. Of course, I can watch it on demand now because of streaming services. Thank you for sharing the Japanese aspects of the show. It is a new little fun fact for me. Have a pleasant day.

I was glad to see your notes, because I love " Friends ". I watch it almost every day, not only learn English but also it is fun. I got many vocabularies and phrases from their talking. The show sometimes includes Japanese things like Unagi or lipstick's commercial Ichiban, they are strange and I can't see how funny they are.(笑)
