あけましておめでとうございます！
Happy New Year!
May this year be a great one!
すっかり新年の挨拶が遅くなってしいました。
皆さん、いかがお過ごしですか？わたしは元旦に初詣に行ってきました。
日本では神社のみならず、お寺にも初詣に行きます。
こちらは大岩日石寺、岩に不動明王が刻まれています。
外には龍の頭から滝が出ている六本滝があります。
白衣で滝うちの業をされている方たちを見ることもあります。
新年から身の引き締まる思いです。
I visited a shrine (temple) on New Year's Day.
In Japan, we visit shrines as well as temples for the new year.
This is Oiwa Nissekiji Temple, and Fudo Myo is engraved on the rock.
Outside, there is Roppongi Waterfall, which has a waterfall from the head of a dragon.
I sometimes see people who are doing meditation( training) by standing unger the waterfall in white kimono.
I felt like energiezed and refreshed from the new year.
新年早々、嬉しい気持ちで過ごせました。
ただ息子が大学受験を控えています。
親は何もできず…見守ることしかできません。
今年の新年の抱負は「笑顔で過ごす」に限るかな、と思います。
・人に優しく、笑顔で接する。
・大変なことも笑顔で乗り切る。
笑顔があればなんでも乗り切れる…わけではないですが、笑顔でいれる時間を少しでも増やしたいな、と思います。

I also met friends and relatives who I couldn't easily meet because of the coronavirus.
I was happy to spend the early New Year with them.
However, my son is preparing to take the university entrance exam.
In this case, parents can't do anything ... they can only watch over thier kids.
I think that my new year's resolution is "Don't forget a smile."
・ Be kind to people and treat them with a smile.
・ Even when you try to do difficult thing, don't forget to smile.
We need a smile, and you can do everything ... I hope.
