New Grammar-Based Lessons

Dr Grant

Hello, everyone.

I now offer grammar-based lessons. They are based on the excellent textbook, Essential Grammar in Use by Raymond Murphy. It is published by Cambridge University Press.

The book was first published in 1985, but has been republished many times since then. Students all over the world use it to improve their English.

There are 102 units in the book. The early units are easier; the later units are more difficult.

Each unit is two pages in length. The first page explains a grammar point and illustrates it. The second page has exercises for the student to do.

Please look for ‘Basic Grammar’ in my list of available lessons.

Each lesson is 50 minutes in length. You may choose up to three grammar points that you would like me to explain during the lesson.

I will also have some homework for you, if you like to do homework. I will check your homework and give you feedback.
