Description
This lesson is designed to address current events in the news. We will be using news articles, magazines, and YouTube videos about news that occurs globally. The lesson will be 50% review (homework) of what I have sent to the student before hand, and 50% discussion of the events. The student will "present" me with the information in the manner of a newscaster or journalist. I will ask clarifying questions of the student, as well.
This type of lesson is designed to give the student knowledge of current events to the extent that they feel comfortable discussing it. New vocabulary will also be introduced from the video or documents used during the lesson.
