2. Short Stories:

  • Focus: Character development, inferring meaning, identifying themes.
  • Material: Engaging short stories with rich vocabulary and clear plotlines.
  • Activities:
    • Character analysis chart: Fill in a chart describing characters' appearances, actions, and motivations.
    • Prediction game: Guess what might happen next based on clues in the text.
    • Cause and effect: Discuss how certain events lead to other events in the story.
    • Role-playing: Act out scenes from the story to practice dialogue and understand characters better.

3. Informative Texts:
