Description

Using a series of newspaper articles and, or reports, we will use the material to enable you to improve your comprehension of written articles and your use of English. You will be able to increase your vocabulary as a result of this exercise, using techniques that will be given to you.
You will be tested on your writting abilities, by writing an article and a report. We will concentrate on the time of activities which you need to improve e.g. writing reports, presentations, writing professional emails/letters using industry specific voacbulary, cv writing and job applications etc. The material will be based on your individual requirements.
There will be a listening section to determine your listening skills, with a follow up of your comprehension of this section. The listening exercise is to determine how good your listening abilities are and where necessary assistance will be given to improve your listening skills.
Finally, there will be an oral examination to determine whether you have improved to make C1 level. Here, we will go through specific situations in English e.g. presentation for work, buying engineering devices etc. The aim is to improve your fluency and confidence to make you more confident at any level in business with your peers from any nation.
