Fun Learning from Alice in Wonderland
Подробности урока
The Jabberwocky is a nonsense poem - it contains a lot of words 'made up' by the poet. But if you look closely, you can see that it's a very clever poem. By using context we can work out whether the nonsense word is a noun, an adjective or a verb.
Here is the 1st verse. How many nonsense words can you see? Can you work out of they are nouns, or verbs or adjectives?
Jabberwocky
’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
