Description
In our next lesson, we'll get into the fascinating topic of "What impact do sports have on our world?" We'll start with a relaxed chat about your favorite sports or memorable sports events.
We'll then focus on learning how to use reported speech, a useful tool for sharing what others have said about sports. I'll guide you through the basics, showing you how to transform direct quotes into reported speech, with practical examples to help you with the concept.
We'll also discuss the benefits and values of sports, learning sports-realated vocabulary as we go along. You'll practice using sports vocabulary in sentences, both in direct and reported speech.
Finally, we'll wrap up by reviewing everything we've covered. If you're interested in some extra practice, you can write a short piece using reported speech about a recent sports event or an athlete's interview.
Throughout the lesson, I'll be there to help you with feedback and support, making sure you're comfortable and confident with the new language skills you're learning.
