Small talk is nothing more than a short, friendly conversation about a common topic of interest. A friendly chit chat (inconsequential conversation) to know your counterparts without being too personal.

The process becomes a useful purpose creating a bond between businesses and office partners, it is the same when making a new friend. Small talk is a great way of sharing common interests, for example, movies, music, traveling, weather, etc..

Also, you'll learn how to avoid small talk mistakes and knowing which topics to avoid to prevent any unnecessary conflicts because some individuals may have strong opinions which sometimes could make another feel uncomfortable.
