Ecofeminism, a field originating in the 1970s, explores the relations between sex, gender, sexuality and nature. This lesson will discuss the concept, its history and various philosophical questions posed by the field. These ideas will be elaborated on through the use of various real-world, literary and academic examples, and, provided you are interested, there will also be recommended reading for those who want to further pursue this field after the lesson.

For any subsequent lessons, we will dive more deeply into various texts that offer additional and/or more complex ideas surrounding this field.
