Students will learn the basic elements of shape and create patterns to create a Panda final product.

In this course, students will be introduced to the five elements of shape in order to draw simple to complex figures. Students will be shown how to look at images in a new way bases on the elements of shape. Students will create a piece of art using shapes and textures. Students will be introduced to complementary colors, triadic colors, and analogous color combinations.
Students will be able to express their creativity in a relaxed non-judgemental environment. Students can choose if they want to share their art work or not.
Materials:
4 sheets blank 8x11 paper or larger (can be printer paper)
Black "Sharpie" or similar brand permanent marker
Additional markers of varying colors (can be Crayola, Mr. Sketch, anything available)
