Lets make conversations more interesting. We can build on basic phrases, use adjectives and adverbs.
Imagine a dialogue:
Paul: Where did you go yesterday ?
Satoshi: I went to Tokyo.
Paul: Where did you stay ?
Satoshi:In a hotel.
Paul:What did you do ?
Satoshi: We went to a few places....
Let's add some words.
adjectives like these:
good, amazing, funny, strange, tiring, long, scary, lively, cheap, expensive
adverbs like these:
slowly, always, never ,often, quickly, nicely, yesterday, tomorrow ....
Taking short sentences and making them longer and more interesting will make conversations so much more fun !
So we can say :
I went to Tokyo with my good friend.
The trip was very interesting. Tokyo is expensive but we often found cheap restaurants. We sometimes took the train and we sometimes walked. We stayed in a cool and cheap hotel.
The food was always delicious and we ate a lot.....
Now let's have a conversation about your weekend ...
We will add vocabulary together.
