レッスン受講後、毎回、感じる率直なレッスンの感想は「楽しい」ということ。「活きた英語を正しく学ぶ大切さ」をJacqui先生は教えてくれます。根気強く、丁寧に。私は英語で話し出すと、時制、冠詞、単数、複数形等を間違えている事が多く、そんな時は自分では全く気づいていません。Jacqui先生は細かい箇所も聞き逃さずに、こちらの言葉をしっかり聞き取り、その場で気付かせてくれます。「自然な英語表現で話せる様になりたい」という私の受講目的に合わせて、それはとても大切な事。Jacqui先生は生徒の学ぶ目的や段階に合わせ、指導してくれる知識と指導経験豊富な先生です。

Jacのlessonを受け始めてから一貫してTell me what you seeのlessonを受講しておりますが、本当に毎レッスン新しく学ぶ事ばかりです。先生は「ネイティブの様に自然な英語を話す」ということをいつも念頭に置いて教えて頂いてます。動詞と句動詞を正しく使う練習として前回のlessonでは絵ではなく、短い動画を用いて登場人物が何をしたか描写することをやってみました。内容は私が大好きな海外ドラマBreaking Badということもあり、とても楽しくたくさんの表現を学ぶことができました。彼女のlessonの魅力的なところは生徒のニーズに合わせて柔軟に教材やlessonプランを考えて頂けるところですね。

Tell me what you seeのlessonはシンプルな様で実はもの凄く奥深いlessonです。もちろん今まで通り「ネイティブの様に自然な英語を話す」ことを念頭に置いてlessonをして頂けるのですが、写真から想像できる物語やなぜそう説明できるのか？等、自分の答えに至るまでの思考まで鍛えられます。Jacのlessonを受けてみようと考えている方はこちらがまずはお勧めです。
