(This lesson will suit Upper Beginner / Intermediate - Advanced students)


This lesson can be taken in 2 ways:


1) READ OUT LOUD:


(good for beginners / intermediate or students who want to work on pronunciation)

  • You CHOOSE AN ARTICLE
  • Read it before the lesson to start forming your own ideas about the content and write down any questions you may have
  • In class, you will READ OUT LOUD to me
  • I will support you by correcting any mistakes, explaining the vocabulary and any other questions you may have
  • Then we will DISCUSS the topic for the remainder of the lesson 
 
2) DISCUSSION:


(good for intermediate / advanced or students who want to work on discussion and conversation skills)

  • You CHOOSE AN ARTICLE
  • Read it before the lesson to start forming your own ideas about the content and write down any questions you may have...I will of course do the same
  • We will start the lesson by checking your questions about the article and any unfamiliar expressions or vocabulary
  • Then we will DISCUSS the topic for the remainder of the lesson

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
  • You can CHOOSE ANY ARTICLE from ANY NEWS SOURCE or BLOG you prefer
  • Choose something that SUITS YOUR LEVEL and INTERESTS
  • TEACHER SUGGESTIONS ARE AVAILABLE if you struggle to find a suitable article
  • I keep DETAILED SKYPE NOTES of everything we discuss.

  • Less than 12hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • Between 12-24hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
