Hello I'm from the west coast in the USA, where I'm currently living. A few of my favorite things are the outdoors, traveling, and music. Ive been teaching English for over 4 years to students of all ages and backgrounds. I've had the privilege of living in China and Myanmar as well as traveling to several other south east Asian countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Macau, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. Because of this I have gained an appreciation for other cultures and food; there's always something that we can learn from one another. Additionally, I have been learning Mandarin for about 12 years, so I believe this has helped me to have empathy for others trying to learn another language and to be aware of what the challenges are. I think the 3 fundamentals to learning another language is keeping the process interesting, fun, and relevant to the learners goals.
