Hi there!
My name is Kyle, it's nice to meet you. I am currently an English Teacher in Japan and love teaching English. I've always wanted to have the ability to teach English to new learners of the language and I hope to be able to help you too.
Why I moved from the UK to Japan?
I moved across the world in August 2022 wanting a change and to learn more about other cultures. Since then I have attended many festivals, cultural events and learned a lot about Japanese culture. I hope to stay in Japan a long time and also travel to many other countries and experience those cultures too for myself.
What hobbies do I have and what I really enjoy talking about?
With friendly conversation comes the ability to chat about what we love! For me, that would be video games and different cultural activies from around the world. In my free talk lessons, I hope we can have some great conversations about things you enjoy and can share information on!
Why are your lessons mainly free-talks?
I believe that when a language learner passes the beginner's step, it is important to keep the learning fun and interesting. By doing free-talk lessons, I believe that students can learn grammar points and vocabulary that best suit their needs rather than completing pre-determined lessons. My free-talk lessons will include a variety of topics with a range of useful vocabulary aimed to make learning fun.
I love to learn about other cultures around the world and by teaching English I hope to learn more about these cultures too.
