Maleco Tutor Profile

Hello, nice to meet you.
I have completed the Japanese language teacher training course.
I am currently providing Japanese language support at a primary school while offering Japanese lessons to trainees from overseas who have come to Japan for training.

As I do Japanese language support in primary schools during the mornings, I can only offer lessons in the afternoons on weekdays.

My lesson style is relaxed and careful.
I have experience in Japanese lessons for children who could not speak Japanese at all!
Even if you currently cannot speak or undersatnd Japanese at all, please don’t worry!
I will give you lessons in “simple and  Japanese,” so you can gradually learn to speak and undersatnd Japanese.

The aim of my lessons is to increase vocabulary and to enable students to use Japanese in a way that suits their situation by talking in depth about the words they are interested in and finding different ways of saying the same thing, while enjoying a casual conversation in Japanese.
I welcome both learners who want to decide for themselves what topics they want to talk about in Japanese, and learners who want me to decide the topics for them!
Before becoming a Japanese teacher, I worked as a film publicist in Tokyo.
I still love films.
I move to live in Tottori Prefecture when I got married and had a baby.
Fish, crabs, broccoli, leeks, rakkyo and pears are very tasty here.
There are very few people, so the sea, mountains and sky are beautiful.

Sakaiminato City, where Shigeru Mizuki who is famous for “Gegege no Kitaro” and “Akuma-kun,” grew up; Daiei-cho, the home town of Gosho Aoyama who is famous for “Detective Conan”; and Tottori City, the birthplace of Jiro Taniguchi, who is famous for drawing the illustratiopns for “Solo no Gourmet” are all in this prefecture.
Tottori Prefecture is a manga kingdom.

I will help you to learn to express your interests in Japanese. Let’s read, talk, listen and write in Japanese about your favourite topics, events you are interested in, and about the latest news you would like to discuss about!
