Hello everyone! I'm Jimy, a Japanese living in Korea.
When I was in Japan, I studied Korean by myself for two years and I passed level 6 in TOPIK.
After that, I came to study in Korea and I continued living here after I got married with a Korean. I've only been in Korea for four years, but as there are only Koreans around me and I have to use Korean every day, I can gradually speak at a native level. If I didn't tell you, you wouldn't know I'm Japanese. Furthermore, I started learning Korean education and traditional Korean culture at a university in Korea.
Becuase I've lived in Korea, I can teach you the phrases that Koreans actually use, which are not taught in textbooks.
Just like all the language learners, I'm a foreigner who started studying Korean from zero. For this reason, I can teach Korean from the students' perspectives.
For beginners, we'll use Japanese and some basic Korean in the conversations. For students above the intermediate level, we'll use a wide range of topics so you can practice speaking as much as possible.
I also teach Japanese to Koreans here in Korea.
When I teach Japanese to Koreans, I can also learn Korean at the same time. To me, this is a very precious moment.
I love chatting in both Japanese and Korean. I want to try to talk to different people on Cafetalk.
