Hello! I'm Yasushi. I'm a Japanese living in Yokohama, and I have a certification in Japanese Language Teaching Proficiency, which allows me to teach Japanese in designated schools.
I teach Japanese to foreigners living nearby in local classrooms. During my free time, I enjoy watching movies and TV dramas, doing combat sports, weight training, reading books, and watching every kind of sports.
Since I wanted to study together with people who want to learn Japanese, I thought of becoming a CafeTalk instructor. Not only in Japanese but also I can provide lessons with explanations in English.

During lessons, I ensure a relaxed atmosphere so that you can use plenty of Japanese.
Before the lesson, please let me know if you prefer to have mistakes corrected on the spot or if you'd like to be informed later. Of course, don't worry if you make mistakes.
I incorporate themes for lessons based on students' requests like "I want to try something like this!" If you have any great ideas, please let me know!
If you're interested, let's talk about sports, especially combat sports, in Japanese! There are special expressions and terminology, so I'll explain them in detail.
I hold a certification as a National Certified Tour Guide Interpreter, which involves explaining Japanese culture and history to tourists from abroad in English, so I can talk about various things related to Japan.
I believe that enjoying studying is the key to improvement, so let's have fun speaking Japanese in a relaxed manner!
