"Konnichiwa, dear students!"

Hi, I'm Makpal. Originally from Kazakhstan, I lived in Tokyo, Japan for three years before moving to Sweden recently.

I've had diverse experiences studying and living in Germany and Russia for two years each. From 2012 to 2014, I studied at Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, then worked as a junior researcher at Nazarbayev University from 2014 to 2017, focusing on climate change, water, and energy.

In 2019, I earned a scholarship to study Energy and Environment Management in Developing countries in Germany. Since 2021, I've been working for a Japanese solar power company and teaching English and Russian through Cafetalk. Despite moving to Europe, I'm still passionate about teaching.

Learning a new language can be challenging, but I'm here to help you navigate different cultures and languages. As someone fluent in Russian, English, and Japanese, I believe you can achieve your language goals with determination.

I aim to make each lesson enjoyable and creative because learning is most effective in a friendly and fun environment. Let's start this language-learning journey together!
