Welcome to “Chan Park’s Korean Language Class”!!
Hello, everyone! I am “Chan Park.”
My real name is “Park Kyu-Yeol,” but my former colleagues called me “Chan Park,” which later became my nickname. (Although I do like it. ^^;)
So please feel free to call me teacher Chan Park~!
 
I look forward to learning and progressing together with you in my “Chan Park Korean Language Class.”
You may feel that learning Korean is difficult.
However, as long as you are a native Japanese speaker, there is no need to worry.
 
This is because Korean and Japanese share most of the same grammatical system, and are by far the easiest to learn than other languages.
Specifically, both languages use the subject-object-verb (SOV) word order and have very similar particles, suffixes, and honorific expressions.
 
For example, 私は日本人です (I am Japanese) →ナ (私), ヌン (は),  イルボンニン (日本人), イムニダ (です).
As seen here, the grammar is the same.
 
Of course, you will need to learn some pronunciation, vocabulary, language nuances, and other elements specific to the Korean language, but if we work together, I am sure you will be able to do it.
 
The journey of learning a new language is challenging, but let’s have fun learning together with. Whether you just want to be able to speak the language, learn the grammar, understand what your favorite actors and singers are saying, or watch Korean dramas without subtitles, I will tailor my lessons to your needs.
 
There are many free Korean language lessons available on YouTube, TikTok, and so on, but by taking lessons that are tailored to your needs, you will shorten the time it takes to master the language. Moreover, since every person is unique, I think it is important to learn Korean as your unique language, and not as a standardized language.
