Warm Greetings!
 
This is Teacher Judy, 27 years old from the Philippines but moved to Japan last May 2023. I am currently living in Japan because my husband is Japanese. We just got married last year and are still in the process of building up our family.

I had a wonderful teaching career in the Philippines. I passed the Licensure Examination (Board Exam) for Professional Teachers and taught senior high school and college students in a private school for 4 years. However, I'm flexible enough to teach students at all ages and levels so you are very much welcome to take my class. Some of the subjects I handled before were Social Studies, English, and Filipino.

When the pandemic started, around 2020, I got an opportunity to teach English online too. I've been an English as a Second Language (ESL) Tutor since 2020 up to the present. My students are mainly Japanese but I also sometimes encounter Taiwanese, Koreans, and Chinese.

Since I'm here now in Japan, I have the opportunity to expose myself to Japanese language everyday. I can speak a little Japanese and also adjusting to Japanese Culture.

My family, friends, and colleagues could testify to my good personality. As an honest view of myself, especially as a Teacher, I believe I am passionate when it comes to teaching because teaching has been my dream profession since I was young. As a Teacher, I am using the Student-Centered Approach to Learning which means that both the teacher and student play an active role in the learning process.

In 5 years of teaching, I discovered that each learner has strong points and weak points so I always adjust myself to the needs of my students.

I am also kind, patient, and understanding. So you don't need to be afraid if you commit a mistake in our lesson.

After a week of conducting lessons here, I made it on the Cafetalk Tutor Ranking.
