My name is Haruna Kitami and I am a violinist. I currently work as a freelance instrumentalist and I participate in musical performances at a variety of different venues. In addition to performing at concert halls, recently I’ve been doing outreach performances at places such as preschools. daycares, and elementary schools.
I started learning how to play piano when I was 5 and violin when I was 7. I think the beauty of the violin is that you can enjoy playing it both in orchestras and in small ensembles (chamber music).
However, in order to have fun performing, it is very important to learn the fundamentals first. I would like to offer lessons that place emphasis on the fundamentals and help you pick up proper technique regardless of your age or experience.
I will try to slowly start offering different types of lessons in the future. I offer trial lessons, so please feel free to give those a try.
※These violin lessons are for middle school students and up
※I will update my lesson schedule as often as possible, but please note that I may be available to give lessons even during unlisted time slots. Please feel free to send me a message if you have a particular time slot in mind.
