Hello! My name is Yuna♪
I graduated from Kansai Gaidai University last March and now I teach English and Japanese language arts to middle school and high school students at a cram school in Kansai.
When I was in college, I studied abroad in Canada and I love speaking English more than anything!
Now as a working adult, I belong to an English conversation club.
It took me years and years to learn how to speak English and I have tried out all sorts of different study methods during that time. That’s why after discussing which areas you struggle with, I can create an original English lesson that’s perfect for your individual needs.
During the lesson, not only will I be guiding you through basic grammar, but I will also introduce useful phrases that native speakers often use. I would also like to share advice on how to maintain your English level and how to incorporate English into your daily life.
My college major was linguistics, so I can explain the difference between words that seem similar but have different nuances. Ask me anything you’re curious about! Questions are always more than welcome♪
☆Hobbies☆
Hip hop dance (I’ve been doing it for 8 years. It helps relieve stress!)
Reading (my favorite authors are Keigo Higashino and Shinichi Hoshi. I also read a lot of how-to books)
Karaoke (mainly western music. It’s also great pronunciation practice so I highly recommend it!)
Watching movies (I like science fiction and suspense. If you watch western movies with English subtitles, you can kill two birds with one stone by getting listening and speed reading practice at the same time)
I would love to have an exciting chat about our hobbies during our English lessons!
Once you are able to use English freely, your world will become much broader.
Get started by learning English while having fun♪
I’m looking forward to meeting you!
