*I currently have a very limited amount of available time to accept new students. Please contact me by message first.
Hello. My name is CHIHIRO and I currently reside in Malaysia.
Hometown: Miyagi Prefecture
School: I graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture, the University of Tokyo
Things I enjoy: I love nature and animals. I also enjoy reading.
Personality: I am optimistic, easygoing, and open-minded.
Others: I have four children, aged high school through kindergarten. Three of them have developmental disabilities.
Background: I have worked as a tutor, a part-time cram school teacher, a correspondence course question writer (in English), and as an HR assistant and lifestyle assistant for a non-Japanese CEO of an overseas cooperations. I am currently working for another company as an online tutor for Japanese junior high school children. I am a licensed childcare worker, and have experience working part time at a childcare center and as a classroom volunteer at a public elementary school in the United States.
◎ However, the most important part of my background is that I have supported four children with differing developmental challenges.
Two of my children have been out of school for several years, and one has been transferred from a support class to a regular class, but I have supported them at home every time they needed me.
In addition, when they entered an international school, I helped them prepare at home from the beginning with zero English, without needing to attend a cram school.
I have always hoped that even children who feel that they are not good at learning, including my own child, will be able to enjoy learning by using creative ways of teaching to help them feel the joy of learning something new.
It may be difficult to feel a sense of accomplishment and confidence at school.
However, in my lessons, I offer my students lots of praises and guidance so that they can gradually gain confidence and learn with a positive attitude.
Although English is my area of expertise in teaching, I help my own children with all subjects, so I am available for other subjects as well. Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your child’s needs.
Parents and guardians are of course welcome to book a trial lesson with me to meet me and discuss about lessons.
Studying is not the whole world for everyone, but the ability to think will help you survive, and knowing the joy of learning new things will surely help you in the future☆
Let’s have fun studying together.
【About my Japanese lessons】
Hi, all. Thank you for stopping by my profile!
I have experience teaching Japanese to people from the US, Mexico, Indonesia, China, Spain, and Argentina. I am also a learner of Chinese and Spanish now.
I have a license to work as a nursery teacher in Japan and am tutoring middle school kids online. Before coming to Malaysia, I worked at an international company as an HR assistant, helping employees to receive visas to start their life in Japan.
In my lessons, you can practice a lot of conversation. I can speak English so if you want to start from zero, there’s no problem. I would like to share a lot of information about life in Japan as well. Let’s get started!!!
