Johnny Evtimovski Tutor Profile
My name is Johnny Evtimovski. I am a certified English teacher who has lived in Japan for twenty years. I am from Buffalo, N.Y., which is very close to Canada and Niagara Falls. I have taught students ranging from school children to business people. I believe that good conversational skills start with good pronunciation. I have worked at the Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages and at Waseda Foreign Language College. I have also taught Business English at foreign affiliated companies in Japan. Additionally, I have been an ALT in Niigata, working at elementary, junior, and senior high schools. Through all of this experience, I have gained an understanding of the most common mistakes Japanese speakers make and how to best fix these problems. My students in the past have always told me that they found my lessons invaluable and were extremely grateful I was their teacher. I hope you feel the same way.
