Nella foresta del bradipo by Anouck Boisrobert, Louis Rigaud

In the forest of sloth, everything is green and everything is allive, where the sloth is swaying sweetly among leaves until one day terrible machines come and destroy the forest……

It’s a pop up book written in Italian and the title means "in the forest of the sloth" but the original version is in French.  I once found the Japanese version, too.

It’s a story of a forest, destroyed and then reproduced, written in simple sentences.  Children can enjoy looking at the beautiful pop up and searching for the sloth on the tree.  The sloth is the simbol of the many endangered species living in the forest and it tells the importance of saving the forest.

The book is printed with soy ink and the paper is made of the trees in the forest managed properly and legally.
