Morning Routine for Language Learners

Ishan Mainali

Here are a few things you can do early in the morning when you are learning a new language.

1. Put a vocabulary sheet next to you the night before, and when you wake up, practise a few words.

2. Put a sheet with grammar rules that you find difficult next to your bed and review that once when you wake up in the morning.

3. If you are an intermediate or advanced learner, listen to the news in the language you are learning.

This does not work for everyone, so do not worry if you are not in a mindset to learn early in the morning!
