British History

EmilyGL

There is lots of colourful and eventful history in Britain, from the time of the Viking, all the way through to the Wars of the Three Kingdoms, the union between England and Scotland, and the big changes from more recent centuries, with tea drinking and railways.

This lesson is good for intermediate and advanced learners.
We can discuss important people of the past or changes in the way of life of ordinary people, or get an idea of the big events over time.

I enjoy sharing history, so if you are interested in Britain and would like to find out more about its past, Sunday 19 June is Cafetalk day!
